fungus growing machine manufacturer advice for shiitake cultivation:

Some customer ask if they can adopt autoclaved sterilization for shiitake growing.

The answer is no.

For shii-take growing, the sterilization is under normal pressure, not autoclaved sterilization.

PS: for shii-take growing, bag material should be polyethylene, not polypropylene.

Because polypropylene bag will be broken easily in the process.

And polyethylen bag can not resist high temperature during autoclaved sterilization.
